NEW! NEW! NEW! We now have an archery range at River Haven. 20, 30, and 40 yard shooting.
What a great summer this has been with almost perfect weather, great fishing and lots of people here enjoying themselves. The rest of August into September is beginning to fill up quickly so if you are looking for a place to go call soon and book a cottage or a camp site.
With the summer coming to a close it is time to think of other things.
HUNTING FOR DEER, MOOSE and BEAR
The fall brings hunting and the area surrounding River Haven has a wealth of game. There are deer, moose and bear in the area. There are rumours of an over abundance of bear and if the sitings we hear about are true then there are alot of bears.
BOAT WINTER STORAGE
What to do with your boat over the winter? Come into River Haven and check out our storage. Shrink wrapped and stored in a secure area for a reasonable price, what more can you ask for.
We have 2 SEASONAL SITES available. Call, e-mail or drop by for more information.
For anyone traveling by boat we have the private RED and GREEN channel markers out which will give 10' of water to our docks. You will find them on the west side of the CPR railway bridge.
VISITING CANADA??
To all visitors to Canada from Germany, The Netherlands, Great Britian, France or from where ever you are from you are always welcome at River Haven Resort. You maybe traveling in a vehicle from Cruise Canada, Cruise America or anyone of the other rental companies and we would love to meet you all.

You may find this surprising, but the Parry Sound Snowmobile Distict is being sued for Trademark infringment by a Parry Sound resident! The Parry Sound resident has "Welcome to Parry Sound" as a registered trademark. The PSSD website says "Welcome to Parry Sound Snowmobile District".
More information can be found at the Cottage Country Now.ca web site. If you want a good "What the ...?!? Your kidding!" Give it a read. We'll keep you updated as we find out more.
